really hot day in florence, so we decided to take it easy. went to a small local museum just to stay out of the 92 degree heat. it wasn’t super exciting, but that’s probably because after seeing david in the flesh, all other sculptures just look like play doh. the best thing there was probably another version of michelangelo’s pieta:
i saw the really famous one in rome years ago and it is beautiful. quite different from this one, for sure.
also saw this sticker randomly placed on the back of a sign and it made me happy:
very random! =D
and even though i don’t even drink, this display at a small grocery store made me appreciate la vie boheme:
