6.30.10 // who knew a dirty river could be so romantic

views of the river arno and all that surrounds it, taken from the uffizi gallery [home to an impressive collection of botticelli, titian, raphael, and pretty much every other great painter you can think of.] not gonna lie, i almost cried upon seeing botticelli’s birth of venus and primavera. again, no photography was allowed inside, so everyone should go and check out the museum on their own. you won’t regret it.


ponte vecchio is so cool. i want my engagement ring from a jewellery shop there. ;-p

...is michelangelo’s david, clearly! i am in love with a statue, is that even possible? no cameras were allowed inside the accademia, but even if they were, no picture could do him justice. he is so beautiful but all i have to offer you is this cheap statue copy taken from very far away:

going to my grandma’s house was depressing as hell. i hated being there without her. tried to keep busy.

sarah took me to this amazing vegetarian place in west hollywood called m cafe de chaya. it was reeeeally good. everything i got was vegan, but didn't taste fake!

so remember how random mother's day was? father's day was just as random. well, not really. we went to the camarillo outlets but saw some pretty random stuff there.

so at the office, we give all new patients a shaker to mix their medibase shakes in. tonight was my aunt's birthday party...and they were using one of our shakers to mix alcohol. my dad and i thought that was freakin' funny. ^_^

LA pride 2010 was really cool! i'd never been, and neither had chester, so stephanie decided that we needed to change that.
