6.7.10 // dinner and a casino

my sister had this year-long assignment for her history class where she had to choose eight or nine people from history and present day to invite to a dinner party. she had to research all of them and write heartfelt letters as to why they should attend. the last part of the assignment was making a diorama of the dinner party setting. she chose vegas, more specifically circus circus. so here's the finished product:





very cool once she finished it, but when you think about it, why was this an assignment in history? i've seen advanced set design students who make their sets in shoe boxes. oh well, at least it's over with now.
