back in the day i told my dad that i wasn't allowed to die until we've seen paul mccartney live. he agreed and we made it our mission. well, as of tonight i can not only die happy, but i can die period! there are absolutely no words to describe what it was like to see 1/4 of the beatles, still rocking it at the age of 67. the hollywood bowl was being bitchy about allowing in cameras [though many people still snuck them in somehow] so i had to deal with the camera phone. oh well, it's the experience that counts. =D

started shooting for 'dead daylight' tonight, near suicide bridge in pasadena. it was really cool...literally, but also fun doing an outdoor shoot so late.

climbing again. well, the boys climbed and i kept clicking. matt and nick are getting really good at getting me out to stoney point. not that i mind, it's two minutes up the road for me and it's nice being outside in this weather.

it was also free ice cream day at ben & jerry's. not gonna lie, we all drove to valencia because the shop in northridge got closed. totally worth it though.

totally stoked to work on spider's film 'dead daylight.' we've got a great cast and crew. today the actors met with shirley jo, who spider was lucky enough to have a class with last semester. as a working casting director, she really knows her stuff and i learned a lot just by watching her work with the actors.



and spider is looking more like a director each day ;-p

my advertising design class confuses the hell out of me. we have a very love/hate relationship, but it's mostly hate, especially when it comes to going to class. i had to deal with tons of cocky people in the cinema department while i was at csun, but i wasn't prepared for graphic designers to have the same huge egos. and my teacher...he's cool and i like him, but he's the type who will rip your work apart and point out all the flaws in class but then give you an A when he hands it back. o.O i like that i'm getting A's, but can't i skip the critique bs, not come to class, and just turn in projects?

anyhew, the most recent project is a set of three billboards for the aquarium of the pacific. i've gone through several drafts and i never want to open up this project again ha.







along with this we have to create a magazine advertisement for the aquarium, which i am currently doing. stay tuned >_<
