7.21.10 // i'm back, bitches!
just got in last night and have never been happier! trying to get back into things even though i'm still living eight hours in the future.
went to a wannabe panini place with my aunt and saw this:
the photo was taken in siena! we were there. devika even bought that blue flag.
i was so excited to see matty again. went to the mall and fell in love with this soft red lovesac. i want it. who needs a bed in boston, i could just use this!

london fashion this year officially sucks haha. went to brent cross one more time to see if i could find anything at all. all i wanted was a pair or two of decent pants, but it’s impossible to find anything where the waistline doesn’t come up to your boobs and the crotch doesn’t sag down to your knees.

i love the underground, or the tube, if you will. gonna be taking trains pretty much everyday when i’m in boston. ^_^
gotta go to bond street [london’s equivalent of la’s rodeo drive and boston’s newbury street] at least once every time i’m in london for some s00per serious shopping. even though i didn’t buy much, it’s always fun to look around. especially when selfridges’ has candy displays like these:
and after much consideration, i decided it was a marshmallow-y day and settled on these because they look like little fluffy pillows:
wanted to shop, but wasn’t really feeling london fashion this year. oh wellz. devika got an awesome shirt with a hood that made me think of matty and his red plaid bum jacket haha.

you might know it as the home of the famous wembley stadium, but wembley is also a super indian neighbourhood in london. so obviously, we went.

the stadium. will be seeing plenty of it in 2012 at the olympics!

7.2.10 // real tuscany
today was full of action. pisa, chianti, and siena all in one day. spent tons of time in a bus, but i didn’t mind because the tuscan country side is breathtaking. my mom has always said that if she could live anywhere, it would be a villa in tuscany. now i know why.
the leaning tower of pisa. it really leans, who knew! ;-p
pinocchio is very popular here. i never knew he was florentine.
on the way to chianti
we stopped for lunch at a villa where they make wine and oils
in siena they were having the palio, which is a horse race that takes place over the summer. it’s kind of a big deal and the whole city was out. very crowded.
i’m so in love with those lanterns

on the way back to florence we drove past this little village that was having a sort of renaissance fair. complete with jousting!
such a fun day. i feel like i walked like 27 miles!
