5.8.10 // skaty

my sister had this science fair thing this morning. they called it a 'symposium' which sounds super pretentious when you're dealing with 8th graders. basically it was three hours of the science department of CSUN [where it was held] trying to sell the school and their program to these kids. *rolls eyes* ridiculous. her project was pretty good though. it was on how sounds can affect the growth of plants. one of the lucky saplings got to listen to the mars volta, and it was the one that lived the longest. this makes me happy.



then later on matt took me ice skating. i'd never been before and it was really fun. and i only fell once! when i did i landed right on the ass haha. and now i have a beautiful bruise forming right on my tailbone. hurt soooo bad when it happened but now i look at it as the first skating battle wound of many to come!





yup, that crazy blur is my man tearing up the rink. honestly, this boy rocks at just about everything. while ice is fun, i'm a roller girl at heart, so we watched 'whip it.' and simon was feeling extra playful and decided he was going to climb chairs.
